Walking into this place feels less like entering a café and more like stepping onto a Hollywood movie set.
It’s an absolute behemoth of a space - think a soaring, rustic warehouse meets a steampunk playground.
With its exposed steel beams, massive airplane-style fans, and staircase seating right out of a college library, Dirty Trunk oozes a gritty, high-energy charm.
It’s loud, it’s chaotic, and it’s beautifully over-the-top.
The food and drink menu is just as wild as the architecture.
They aren't just serving coffee; they’re staging a full-on spectacle.
The bakery
The pastry counters are loaded with everything from neon-streaked croissants to decadent, stuffed monstrosities.
The KITCHEN
If you're craving more than sugar, their kitchen cranks out massive, gooey concoctions, loaded fries, and American-style comfort food that perfectly matches the oversized aesthetic.
The brews
Try one of their signature visual drinks - often topped with entire slices of cake, pretzels, or pretty much anything else.
There's coffees, teas, ades, and seasonal specialities as well.
There's also beer on tap and by the bottle.
The entire menu is admittedly not super healthy as per the vibe, but plant-based folk can definitely find juices, coffees, baked goods, and slightly modify meals like salads, veggies, and fries.
I've been here a lot and never left hungry - or without a baggie of goodies either.
Dirty Trunk completely rejects the quiet, minimalist café trend, and honestly?... Awesome.
It’s utterly unpretentious, and aggressively fun.
So if you want to inject some serious energy (and a massive caffeine rush) into your weekend, bring your appetite and get ready to get a little dirty!
